On Saturday, January 27, former St. Thomas More School standout, Taku Youngblood’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, won 75-70 in their NCAA D1 game against the USC Upstate Spartans.

The game took place in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. This was the first matchup against the USC Upstate Spartans this season.
