Cleveland County had one gas station selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.16 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $3.52 per gallon.
Of the 72 reported gas stations located within Cleveland County, 10 offered premium gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in North Carolina was $3.51, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
