City of Kings Mountain issued the following announcement on Dec. 28. 

All City offices will be closed on Monday, January 3, 2022 in observance of the New Years holiday.  Garbage collection for the week will be on a one day delay.  Please place your garbage can at the curb by 6:30 a.m.  

The City of Kings Mountain would like to wish all of our citizens a Happy and Healthy New Year.  May 2022 bring you and yours a fresh start with renewed energy for the coming year.
