City of Kings Mountain issued the following announcement on Feb. 20.

City of Kings Mountain offices will be closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of the President’s Day holiday.  Garbage collection will be on a one delay for the week.  Please be sure that all garbage is properly bagged and put inside the garbage container.  Containers should be placed by the curb by 6:30 a.m.
