City of Marion issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.

Are you a member of the East Marion or West Marion community? 

Do you have an interest in trees and promoting their importance?

 If so, you may be the perfect candidate for the City of Marion’s Tree Board. 

To be a member, you must be a City resident, be over the age of 18 and be able to attend meetings once a quarter.
