CITY OF MARION: Staffing Shortages May Cause Delay in Garbage Collections
0Comments

City of Marion issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.

City of Marion garbage collections may be slightly delayed during the week of Monday, January 31 – Friday, February 4, because of staffing shortages.  Sanitation workers and temporary workers are working overtime to insure that collections still take place on time, but collections may take longer than they normally do because of this staffing issue. Garbage and recycling customers can call Public Works at 828-652-4224 if they have any questions or concerns.
