City of Shelby issued the following announcement on Apr. 11.
In celebration of Earth Day, which occurs every April, the City of Shelby’s Stormwater Division and Keep Shelby Beautiful are sponsoring a Litter Sweep Event on Saturday, April 23, from 10 am-12 pm.
Visit our “Upcoming Litter Sweeps” page to get detailed information about this event and complete a short online pre-registration form if you would like to help.

All necessary supplies will be provided including bottled water.
