County of Cleveland issued the following announcement on May 24.

Cleveland County Social Services Advisory Board is currently accepting applications to fill advisory board seat positions.  Serving this board is a meaningful and vital opportunity for citizens to give their time and expertise to the community by advising county and municipal authorities in developing plans and policies to improve community social conditions.

Meetings are held the last Friday of the month at 4pm.  Special consideration will be given to the following experience/qualifications; Aging Services Provider, Licensed Foster Care Parent, Current or retired health care professional.
