County of Polk issued the following announcement on May 11.

The Polk County Board of Commissioners will   hold a Budget Work Session Meeting on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm, and their regular meeting on Monday, May 16, 2022, at 5:00 pm in the R. Jay Foster Hall of Justice, Womack Building, 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, NC. Click here for meeting information.

The Budget Work Session will continue at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, if necessary.
Both meetings are open for public attendance, or call in to listen, Board of Commissioners Meeting, Monday, May 16, 2022
