County of Polk issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.

Pursuant to NC G.S. 143-129; G.S. 143-132, sealed Bids for the construction of the Green River Sand & Dredge Project will be received at the Polk County Managers Office located at 40 Courthouse Street, Columbus, NC 28722, until Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, March 16 at 1:00 pm at the intersection of Palmer and Silver Creek Roads, Mill Spring, NC. Bids will not be accepted by Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
