County of Rutherford issued the following announcement on June 9.

Rutherford County Airport has a part-time Airport Service Personnel position available.  Job involves routine maintenance and operations: refueling aircraft, positioning aircraft, maintain runway and hanger lifts, maintaining and cleaning terminal, main hanger and flight school building. Must be able to be competent in driving a straight-drive truck to position the aircraft.  Min require: High School diploma with 3-5 years experience in the field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Job requires heavy lifting and towing, inside and outside work, exposure to dust and fumes, constant contact with the general public. Customer service skills essential.  Scheduled hours vary between 9 am to 6 pm, maximum 29 hours per week.  Wages $12.08 per hour.  Apply Rutherford County Human Resources, 289 N Main St, Rutherfordton or  www.rutherfordcountync.gov.  Position open until filled.
