County of Rutherford issued the following announcement on Aug. 14. 

As of August 13, 2021, Rutherford Regional Health System has reviewed and updated their visitor restrictions. See below  

“We are committed to providing the highest quality care and ensuring the safety of our patients, employees, providers, volunteers, and visitors.”

“We will allow two (2) well visitors per patient during regular visitor hours. Patients who are hospitalized overnight may now have one (1) visitor remain with them. Outpatient surgery patients are limited to one (1) visitor. Visitors should be limited to those ages 16 and up.”
