Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs’ 9-4 victory over the Longwood Lancers took place at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 15, with former Crest High School standout Colby Humphries on the roster. The game was an NCAA Division I matchup.

John Henry Moss Stadium hosted the contest, which marked the teams’ third meeting this season. Gardner–Webb also prevailed in their most recent contest on Saturday, March 14, by a 7-2 margin.

Humphries contributed by pitching 1.2 innings, tallying two walks and a single strikeout.

Gardner–Webb’s upcoming game is set for Tuesday, March 17, at 5 p.m. at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium, where they will face the Western Carolina Catamounts.
