Polk County Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

We are celebrating Earth Day this spring by participating in the 13th Annual Neighborhood Forest free tree program, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids every Earth Day!

Fill out the online registration form at polklibrary.org/neighborhood-forest by February 28th and receive a free tree (6-12 inches in size) during Earth Week (April 22-30).
