Polk County Parks & Recreation issued the following announcement on Mar. 2.

Today is the annual YMCA Day of Giving, our one-day giving event that provides an opportunity to give to your local YMCA. All funds raised this year will help local families in Polk County participate in YMCA youth sports, swimming lessons and summer camp at an affordable rate.
