McDowell County Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
All Elementary Schools - Doors open at 7:30; Start time 7:50
East & West Middle - Students can arrive 7:15; Start time/tardy bell 7:50
FCS - Students can arrive 7:20, Start time 8:05
MAI/MEC - Students can arrive 7:00; Start time 8:15
MHS - Students can arrive 7:00-8:00; Start time 8:00, tardy bell 8:05
