City of Shelby issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
Starting on Monday, August 30, the 700 block of Branton Drive will be closed between Hunt Street and Lackey Street for a stormwater replacement project. The road closure is expected to last approximately five days; weather permitting. Local traffic will be able to access the block during this time. Monitor the City’s website (www.cityofshelby.com), and Facebook and Instagram accounts (@cityofShelby). The City appreciates your cooperation with this critical infrastructure improvement.
