City of Marion issued the following announcement on Sep 3.
The organizers of the WNC Bigfoot Festival, held annually in downtown Marion, announced on Wednesday, September 1, that the festival was postponed until Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28, because of increased COVID-19 numbers and continued COVID-19 spread in Western North Carolina.
Individuals in Marion from September 13 through September 18 can enjoy bigfoot-themed activities happening at local businesses. For a list of those activities, please visit marionbigfootfestival.com.
