Covidmoderna

County of Cleveland issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.

The Cleveland County Health Department is now scheduling appointments for the Moderna booster vaccine. Those 65 and older, 18 and older with underlying health conditions that put them at increased risk of severe illness, or 18 and older whose occupational or institutional setting places them at increased risk of exposure are eligible for the vaccine. If you had the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine for your primary series, it must be at least 6 months from the date of your second dose to receive the booster. If you had Johnson & Johnson for your first vaccine, it must be at least 2 months from the date of your dose to receive the booster. All Moderna booster vaccines are currently being scheduled for drive-thru clinics at the Cleveland County Health Department on Fridays by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call our COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Line at 980-484-6019. All COVID-19 vaccines are provided at no cost to the individual.
