City of Shelby issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.
A contractor for the City of Shelby will be replacing a stormwater culvert near 1121 S. Morgan St. starting Tuesday, December 28. The 1100 and 1200 blocks of S. Morgan St. (between Ella St. and Lawrence St.) will be closed to thru traffic for approximately three weeks. Local access will be allowed for residents only. Expect personnel, vehicles and equipment in the roadway in this area. Monitor the City’s website (www.cityofshelby.com), and Facebook and Instagram accounts (@cityofShelby).
