MCDOWELL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Garden Symposium For 2022

McDowell Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 23. 

Before your 2022 calendar fills up, please save the date for Good Earth Gardening, a garden symposium presented by McDowell Master Gardener volunteers. Good Earth Gardening will be on Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the McDowell County Senior Center, 100 Spaulding Road, Marion. A catered lunch will be served. Presenters include Craig LeHouillier, who has a passion for growing heirloom tomatoes. He has been known as NC Tomatoman. Craig will be presenting, “Epic Tomatoes from your Garden:  Some history, varieties, and tips for success. Also presenting will be Annie Martin, “Mossin’ Annie”. She is an educator, landscape designer, and farmer of mosses. There will be more presentations and hands-on workshops in the afternoon. Be on the lookout for registration and more event information. Get your spring and summer garden off to a good start by attending the 2022 Garden Symposium!
