County of Cleveland issued the following announcement on Apr. 18.
North Carolina homeowners who are behind on mortgage payments and/or other housing-related expenses due to financial impacts from the pandemic may be eligible for assistance through NCHAF, at no cost. https://nchaf.gov/
The event in Cleveland County will be hosted at Habitat for Humanity (323 W Grover St., Shelby, NC 28150) on Wednesday, April 27 from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Established through the American Rescue Plan of 2021, NCHAF was created for homeowners in North Carolina to prevent mortgage delinquencies, defaults, displacements and foreclosures for homeowners experiencing financial difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic.
