McDowell County Schools issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
Baxter Healthcare, CHF, and Health-e-Schools are running their 2nd annual book drive.
Come out and support the students and libraries of MCS by donating new or very gently used books.
The Children's Book Drive is now collecting books through August 18th.
Please stop by to drop off your contribution at either of the McDowell public libraries or at MACA during open business hours.
Donation boxes are located at or near the front desks. Last year we collected 600 books. Let's make this year even more successful!
