County of McDowell issued the following announcement on Sept. 25.
We are looking for volunteers for a program at the Old Fort Public Library!
"Ghost Stories on the Green" is an event to be held on October 25th from 5pm to 7pm.
We will have spooky themed snacks, a costume parade, and end the evening with some ghost stories!
Volunteers for the program are asked to read a ghost story aloud to a group. We will have a ghost story for you, but if you have a favorite story, you are welcome to share it.
