City of Kings Mountain issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
Beginning on Monday, October 17, the Public Works Department will start the season of picking up loose leaves left at the roadside behind the curb.
"Only leaves” will be vacuumed.
Please pile any limbs or sticks separately.
The crew will begin using one truck and as the volume of leaves increase, the second truck will be put into use.
