County of Cleveland issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.
Cleveland County offices will be closed Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day, honoring all who served.
Cleveland County Recycling Centers and the Airport Rd. landfill will be closed on Friday.
The Self McNeilly landfill will be open 8am - 12 noon.
The Cleveland County Veterans Day Parade will begin at 10am at Market and Graham Street, Shelby.
A special service will follow at 11am on the court square.
(In case of inclement weather the service will be held in the Shelby City Park Gym)
