County of Rutherford issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
Position Available- Rutherford County Revenue Department has a full-time position as a Customer Services Representative.
The position reports to the Land Records Coordinator and is responsible for the public access area assisting taxpayers in locating property, printing tax maps and plats, and copying deed sheets.
Position also assists with transferring property from deeds and updating deed reference sheets. Minimum qualifications: High School graduate with computer experience in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communications skills; job requires regular contact with general public so patience and tact are essential; excellent problem solving skills, and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Hours: 8:30am -5:00pm Monday - Friday. Wages $30,118 annually with great benefits including NC retirement, 401K, health, dental and life insurance.
