City of Shelby issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
Beginning on Tuesday, February 21, a contractor for the City of Shelby will be resurfacing the following streets: Greer St., South Fork Dr. and Combs St.
Expect personnel, vehicles, and equipment along and in the road with temporary lane closures while work is ongoing.
Please do not park vehicles on the street in this area, or place leaf or brush piles in the street.
Work in this area is anticipated to last approximately seven days; weather permitting.
