On Saturday, December 16, former St. Thomas More School standout, Taku Youngblood’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, lost 59-80 in their NCAA D1 game against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

The game took place in Greensboro, North Carolina. This was the first matchup against the Appalachian State Mountaineers this season.

The Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19 at 7 p.m. in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
