On Wednesday, January 17, former George Wythe High School standout, Deshawn Goodwyn’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs, won 74-68 in their NCAA D1 game against the Radford Highlanders.

The game took place in Radford, Virginia. This was the first matchup against the Radford Highlanders this season.
