Cleveland County officials are partnering with Mountain Bizworks to launch a grant program to provide financial aid to small businesses that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new partnership was released in an Oct. 23 Facebook post from Cleveland County

The Cleveland County Small Business Recovery Fund was designed to protect small businesses and jobs that are being threatened by the COVID-19 health crisis.

The grant funds are being offered to provide immediate financial relief so businesses can safely reopen and stay open.

Eligible businesses may qualify for a grant in the amount of two times the businesses’ average monthly expenses or up to $2,500 for solo entrepreneurs and up to $10,000 for businesses with 2-25 employees.

Visitors can find the application, full program guidelines and eligibility criteria online at the program’s web site at Mountain Bizworks.
