City of Shelby issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Calling musicians, and those in our community who are in the music industry!
We are working on an initiative to make our community a certified Music Friendly Community, and we need your help!
We are in the process of identifying the individuals, groups, and businesses from our area that make up the musical nucleus of our community (See complete list below).
Individual artists
Groups, bands, orchestras, choirs, etc. that perform publicly
Music producers and publishers
Recording studios
Radio stations
Music instructors
Music stores
DJ’s
Venues
